Prior to joining Cohere Capital, Austin was an Associate at Canaccord Genuity, a global, full-service investment banking and financial services firm, where he focused on public and private M&A, equity financing, and debt financing transactions within the industrial technology and energy transition sectors. At Canaccord Genuity, he assisted in all stages of transaction execution.

Austin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Bentley University.
